Ortho-Gesic®

Ortho-Gesic® is a unique combination of two state-of- the-art dietary ingredients – NEM® natural eggshell membrane, and UC-II® collagen. These ingredients are combined in clinically studied amounts designed to support healthy joints.‡

NEM® is an eggshell membrane ingredient which is clinically proven to improve joint health and flexibility faster than any other joint health ingredient.‡

Composed of naturally occurring glycosaminoglycans including chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, NEM® also contains collagen and other beneficial proteins.  Clinical studies show that NEM® reduces pain and stiffness and improves flexibility in just 7 to 10 days.‡

Derived from chicken sternum cartilage, UC-II® consists of undenatured type II collagen that supports joint comfort, flexibility and mobility. Supported by two human clinical studies and backed by numerous patents, UC-II® is the only source of undenatured type II collagen available as a powdered, shelf stable dietary ingredient.  Just 40 mg of UC-II® has been shown to increase joint comfort, flexibility and mobility.‡

UC-II® is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility from chicken sternum cartilage using a patented, low-temperature manufacturing process that ensures a particular level of undenatured type II collagen.  Other forms of type II collagen sold as dietary supplements are denatured, or hydrolyzed.‡

A new UC-II® randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study was conducted on healthy subjects.  UC-II® provided significant results compared to placebo in increasing joint function. UC-II® consists of undenatured type II collagen, a FDA-notified and published new dietary ingredient (NDI). UC-II® is manufactured in a GMP-certified facility and has been determined GRAS for use in foods and beverages.
