• As an analogue and precursor of reduced glutathione, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) confers a major defensive role against reactive oxygen / nitrogen species that damage cells and create inflammation.* Research has shown NAC to support multiple physiological processes involving detoxification, lung health, and immune function.*
• As a flavonoid found in numerous plant foods, Quercetin exhibits antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-histamine effects.* Quercetin has also shown to improve a variety of conditions characterized by systemic inflammation and oxidative stress.*
• Vitamin C is a potent water-soluble antioxidant that bolsters cellular processes of both innate and adaptive immunity.* Several human studies have shown vitamin C to improve respiratory and systemic infections when provided at appropriate doses.* Vitamin C may also reduce the duration of the common cold.*
